 Hats off to the LI team that played in the second Hoops 4 Heroes game on Nov. 3rd at Hofstra University. This was one of the best teams put together for an event such as this, ever! We can sum up their victory in one word, RESPECT! The action on the court was great but the spirit in which the NY HS Basketball community came together was even greater. We at GAME OVER realize that the last thing you coaches and players need is another game. The PAL, CIP, and GAME OVER thank you for your participation and dedication to a great cause. Enjoy the photos and comments and once again a special thanks to all who helped make this a great event.  Did the ladies steal the show? Well let's put it this way, either game could have been the headliner. We saw text book plays that any student of the game would appreciate. Andwe were also treated to moves straight out of the playground that left people saying, "did she do what I think she did"? In the end it was NYC that took home the gold in the first HOOPS 4 HEROES ladies game. History was also made when the first ever GAME OVER WOMEN'S trophies were awarded. What a night!
