-James Clerk Maxwell, communicator for the Guides in writing this book, lived in England between 1831 and 1879. A professor in King's College, London, England, he earned international renown for his work as a physicist and mathematician. Maxwell's Equations are familiar to Radio Engineers and Physicists the world over, providing the theory for radio and radar electromagnetic wave propagation. His Scottish wit and refreshing mid-Victorian phraseology frequently characterize his transmissions, which he modestly signs "jcm here today." Maxwell was selected by 'T. George; head of our particular ashram, to be spokesperson when other Guides found it too difficult to use contemporary English. My subconscious mind, our invisible link through the veil, became programmed to receive English through five recent incarnations in the British Isles, the Colonies, and the United States of America.
