*SECRECY IN OCCULTISM: Of recent years the antagonism to the secrecy practised by occultists appears to have been growing; though quite frankly, one is rather inclined to doubt whether the majority of the complaints emanate from those who have any serious knowledge of the subject. Judging by recent books and articles that have appeared, it would seem, on the contrary, that those who are loudest in their denunciations and most prodigal in their exposure, are hardly those best qualified to express an opinion.
