Carolyn Brink spent fifteen years as an administrator at Emily Griffith Opportunity School, serving as coordinator of Consumer and Family Studies, assistant principal, and director of Support Services. Prior to that, she served four years as a program manager for the Colorado Community College System, six years as assistant professor at the University of Northern Colorado, and two years as a secondary school teacher in Minnesota.

A native of South Dakota, Carolyn earned a doctorate of philosophy from Oklahoma State University. She retired from EGOS in 2003 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Emily Griffith Foundation.
